So, Tuesday evening I went to the Jazz/Spurs game...what a sight. Yeah, I felt like I was watching hike school basketball in a really big gym. But, I didn't have to pay for the tickets because Brooke came across them, so that was pretty sweet. However, the game was not sweet. Brooke and I had a great conversation and don't worry, we had play-by-play and I think Jerry Sloan's proteges behind us. "Kick it back out to Williams!!" "Let's go Jazz!" "AAAHHH!!" ringing in our ears. Let's be honest, we were like five rows from the very top, do you really think they can hear you? I'm going to go with my gut feeling on this and say no.
The highlight, or possible lowlight, of the game was in the third quarter. Some guy randomly runs out on the court during a free throw while the entire security squadron is sitting there scratching their heads! It was pretty funny. Jerry Sloan finally took matters into his own hands and was not happy with the security, or better phrased, insecurity. I love when people do stupid things. It makes me so happy (unless it is directly happening to me, then I am not so happy).
So, yeah, I miss Johnny Stockton and Karl Malone in the fabulous purple uniforms. I don't think the NBA will ever be the same or as good as those two players. Thanks Brooke for a fun time!
What a rip! You went to the Jazz game without me?!? What kind of a sister are you? Ha ha. JK I hope it was fun. Random people make my day!
