Going geek, I mean Greek!

As a history major graduate I have hit the big times! That's right. Next Thursday, I am going to be inducted into the prestigious honor society Phi Alpha Theta, Delta Xi chapter at Utah State University. What is Phi Alpha Theta you ask? Well, according to their website:

"We are a professional society whose mission is to promote the study of history through the encouragement of research, good teaching, publication and the exchange of learning and ideas among historians. We seek to bring students, teachers and writers of history together for intellectual and social exchanges, which promote and assist historical research and publication by our members in a variety of ways."

I know what all of you are thinking (including myself), Geek to the core! Oh well, I think it will be fun to tell my classes that I am a member of PAT when I am a big time college professor of history. Just wanted to spread some more good news.
