Oh my favorite holiday of the year! Thanksgiving! Turkey, family, pies, and lounging! So, I know that I have not blogged for a long time, and I feel like I have really neglected my blogging. So, what better time to start than with a great holiday of Thanksgiving. I have been home for almost 7 months. In fact, today is my two year anniversary of starting my mission. It was 29 November 2006 that I left home for the wildest adventure I have had thus far in my life.
A lot of stuff has happened since May. Recinos came home (trip to AZ), found job, started school (yikes!) and lots of new babies and engagements--not in that order. Very fun.
Thanksgiving was GREAT! I think I ate way too much, but it's not Thanksgiving if you don't stuff your face, eat pie and play a round of Trivial Pursuit. Although Marilynn and I were not crowned the champions this year (Erin and Greg were champs, even with answers like Greek Orthodox Jews), we still had a lot of fun.
Well, this is the first of many posts. I'm sorry I have been absent for so long for anyone who missed my blogs.

ReplyDeleteI think we could have taken Erin, its Greg that kept those two alive and remember, we kind of gave it to them at the end. Next Year we'll regain our crown for sure as I'm going to study up, on what I don't know yet, but I'll study up on something. Thanks Dallin for being my partner and pretending that I'm helping the "team" effort. I luv ya.
